Jimmy Book Signing
Held at Millers Pharmacy in Kalida
|
 |
|
Jim Gerdeman held
a book signing for his book titled Jimmy during the Pioneer Days Celebration in Kalida, Ohio. Jim
said the attendance was very good and in fact, he had to sign books all weekend long. “People would
come up to me with a book in hand and I enjoyed signing it for them.” Gerdeman said.
Jimmy has been given very positive reviews by all age groups. “I have received great
feedback from people across the United States. I am blessed and humbled by the feedback.” He said.
The story of young boys growing up in the Midwest with the freedom to explore has captured the hearts of so many.
Mainly people are talking about how the book triggers thoughts of the reader’s youth. There
has been a genuine joy that comes over readers as they recall to Gerdeman the accounts in the book. “I
believe that readers of all ages would find the book a pleasant and fun trip through the past. It would
make a great holiday present for the reader in your family.” Gerdeman said. Gerdeman
has recently announced other works. Smoke Signals, You Too Can Quit is a 100
page essay on how to stop smoking by reading the signals. White on Black Veneer
is a 300 page book describing progress blacks have made during and since the equal opportunity and affirmative
action days.
