Our National Budget is submitted to congress
by the President with help from the Office of Budget and Management every year. You can see that they ask for more than
they have or will collect. Is that responsible?
Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! We need to create jobs in order
to increase the tax revenues. The government can set the environment for creating jobs but has proven to be less that
successful in managing programs with jobs. Explore some of the opportunities.
Our teachers know what is going on in our educational
processes. They can tell you who is failing and why. We have given our teachers more and more responsibilities
while defering their pay increases. Politicians always use education as the issue but most often really only play to
the unions. It is time to use the teachers and more to improve.
Budget items are reviewed by largest increases
and largest decreases of discretionary budget items for 2011. Departments are highlighted as described
by the President and the Office of Budget and Management. A 13%+ increase was given and that is a $179 Billion Increase even
though we are in a financial crisis.
